Just a quick note to check in with everyone - I know these last few months have been stressful and scary for all of us but I have to say, I have never been reminded more as to how much of a family MSJ is. I see it in the "online learning", in the MSJ emails, on the FB Page, texts and emails that I get from time to time, and again last night on one of our Virtual Mothers' Club Happy Hours - it was so nice to see so many faces, faces that I have really missed these last few months. I would like to wish everyone a relaxing and stress-less summer - please keep MSJ and all of our families in your prayers, as we go forward. I pray that most of this is behind us come September and we and our boys are able to have a good, normal 2020-2021 School Year. Remember, we are always here for each other - please check the MC FB page over the summer for any updates or just to say hi - we will also try to schedule a few Virtual Happy Hours over the summer, so we can all check in on each other.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to me at anytime - Sending hugs to all of you!! See you in September!!!!
The 54th Annual Fashion Show
Legacy, All Roads Lead Home!
Congratulations to the Moms and Sons featured in the Virtual Fashion Show video. Your stories captured the essence of The Mount experience – each journey unique and as precious as each the family. The video is on the Mothers of Mount Saint Joseph Facebook page, under the Media tab in the Video section https://www.facebook.com/groups/691231370995343/media/videos. A big thank you to John Scavilla and his son, of Tower Entertainment, for their time and talent to make the video possible!
Thank you to all who participated as donors, and bidders in the silent auction! The generosity was without measure. Our 50/50 Raffle winner was Nancy Bauer!
The Fashion Show was successful because of the time and talent of the Committee:

Thank you to all who were a part of this event. We are seeking chairs of the event for next year. Please contact Tammany Buckwalter ([email protected]) or Veronica Deza ([email protected]) to learn more and discuss what is involved.
Thank you to everyone who contributed throughout the year to help support our MSJ Neighbor, My Brother's Keeper!
In the spirit of many hands, make light work, we prepared and help serve Thanksgiving Dinner to over 125 My Brother's Keeper's guests this past year. During the school year, our sons and many moms contributed numerous volunteer hours at My Brother's Keeper, prepared over 70 casseroles, and supplemented the MBK daily menu offering with monthly meatball and hot dog shopping. We provided countless snacks, drinks, lunch meat, cheese, fruit, supplies and sandwiches for the daily COVID 19 "Grab N Go" Lunch program.
Thank you for being such a good neighbor and investing in outreach in our own school community!
We are continuing to provide food donations to My Brother's Keeper as they continue to serve guests daily during the COVID19 crisis. If you are able in the next few weeks, please consider supporting MBK “Hot Dog Days” by donating Beef Hot Dogs and/or Hot Dog Buns . Please bring donations to the back door, between 8 am and 3pm. Someone will open the door to receive your donation. Please indicate the donation is from MSJ Mother's Club.
We will use the Mother's Club Facebook page to post My Brother's Keeper updates throughout the summer, including the return of Volunteers and Casseroles.
Until then, thank you and God Bless to all our senior moms!

The SOMM books were delivered to MSJ, and they look great! Unfortunately, they did not come in until after MSJ was shut down because of COVID-19. However, each Senior should have received a copy when picking up his diploma and other graduation items. At this time, the books will not be distributed to the rest of the MSJ students until restrictions have been lifted.
