President's Report
Happy February!
The Mother's Club is back after a snowy last week of January. Here’s hoping February is less snowy and icy as we head towards Spring. The Mother's Club is always looking for volunteers but especially during these frigid winter months! If you were unable to be involved in the Fall, now is the perfect time to branch out and get more involved. No amount of time is too little and no experience is needed; we are a team that works together. We have volunteer opportunities coming for these events: Bingo, Morning Munchies and coming soon the Class of 2030 Meet &Greet.
We hope you can join us on Tuesday, February 10th for our monthly Mother's Club meeting. We are doing something fun and social for this meeting by having a Galantine’s celebration instead of having a speaker. Bring your favorite Wine, a Charcuterie tray or a dessert to share as we enjoy one another’s company.
A special thank you to Janine Kurtz and Sarah Meakin for organizing the meals for the faculty dinners during freshman interviews and the morning munchies last month and to all the many volunteers for helping with these events!

Monthly Meeting
IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!! Our monthly February Mother's Club Meeting has been postponed because of limited parking due to snow and a basketball game to Tuesday, February 10th @7 pm Alumni Room in Smith Center.
Please bring a board, snack, or wine to share. We can't wait to see you all then.
Faculty Special Events
Calling all volunteers...
Mother's Club provides Dinner for the faculty & student ambassadors who help participate with the Freshman Interviews.
Morning Munchies is a way for us to show our appreciation to our wonderful faculty and staff. We pack and deliver baskets full of goodies to various locations throughout the campus. The baskets are stuffed with individually wrapped goodies, fruits, nuts, granola bars, snacks, etc. provided by MSJ families.
Book Club
Thanks to everyone who made it out for our January book discussion!
Our next book we chose will be Between Two Kingdoms A Memoir of a Life Interrupted by Suleika Jaouad
We’re planning to meet some time in March so stay tuned…date, time, and location will be posted on our Facebook page in the next couple weeks!

Mothers' Club Bingo
We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday February 7, 2026. Remember to bring cash for raffles, extra games, and prizes. We will have concessions, too. Pizza, chips, cookies, soda, and candy bars are on the menu. Doors open at 5:00. Early Bird Game is 5:45-- Regular Games start at 6:00pm.
We are in NEED of a few more volunteers. 4 more adults from 4:30-6 PM. In time for you to play and 10-12 boys. If you are interested or have a son that needs volunteer hours please email Ann Morton- [email protected]
REMINDER- If you sponsored a bag please send in your check by Wednesday February 4, 2026.
